We all put forward our highest bids in PMs to NMA, and we do them a pool at a time. If there's a tie, we then go into a public 1v1 auction in the thread

Why not just bid one player at a time?
At the most it could go 5 minutes per player.

Even if we give 5 hours a day we can get it done in a week. Drafts anyway do go for 4-5 days. So why not auctions?

Nope but I have myself conducted auctions like those in IPL PC Style and have been a part of auctions like those, Sartaj's WPL. Must be like 10 years ago, lol.
