24 Feb - South Africa vs West Indies

So far all the 4 wickets have been taken by spinners, so currently I would say it was a good move to include 3 spinners.

Tahir has done well here. He could have had three wickets had he not dropped quite a simple c & b opportunity.

yeah should of caught it. If Windies can get to about 250 - 275, could have a good game

West Indies have the opportunity of using only two spinners- S Benn and C Gayle.

dont think theyt got any more part timer bowlers who can bowl spin

I think Sarwan and Chanderpaul can bowl spin, they have just 30 ODI wickets between them mind!

Could be an interesting contest

And Pollard begins his WC campaign with a first ball duck! :p

Shame on Pollard. The stage was set for him to build up a partnership with Thomas and take WI past 260-270. Now they can't even bat 50 overs. SA to win this by 9 wickets.

Pollard is really a hyped cricketer and only a T20 format player.

And look how Steyn is bowling!! Some one was arguing that Steyn gets hammered in SC pitches!! He is doing all fine

The whole point of someone like Pollard is that 'x factor' and that means it won't always come off. The top order gave him absolutely no platform to make a score and he came up against the best bowler in the world bowling a beauty, so I think you're being a bit harsh on him.

Pollard may be hyped but he isn't just a T20 batsman. I am sure that he will become an integral part of the Windies ODI team in the near future.
