Experts Opinion:
NZ (Lonewolf), we've got the most improved team since the last tourney. Having lost only a single game in the entire tourney, their performance has been nothing short of sensationally clinical. Sporting the tightest bowling outfit in the tourney and clearly deserving of the "favorites" tag, NZ would do well though to watch replay after replay of their ill-fated 1992 world cup semi finals. They only need to guard against two things. One is totally in their hands - how well they deal with the pressure of a knock-out game. The other, is something they will only hope they can do something about - a phenomenon called HKR.

Eng (HKR) in this tourney have been an enigma - the volatile swings in their form and fortune carrying more of an anything-can-happen aura of a Pakistan unit rather than the predictability of a typical English team. At the halfway mark in the Group Stages their tally read 1 win against 4 losses, including a shocking defeat at the hands of Bangladesh. They then turned it around with 5 straight and fairly comprehensive wins to breeze into the Semis. Though they've lost 4 of 6 games in the Super-6 stages, the script couldn't have been set up better for another turnaround. They've sized up the opposition, they've got them where they want them - basking in a sense of false security - and they are ready for the kill. Its just a matter of which HKR shows up.

Head to Head: New Zealnd lead 2-0

Experts Opinion:
India (Lilas11) started off their journey on the wrong foot, possibly still basking in the glory of their previous tourney win. They were off color, suddenly out of form and not half the team that lifted the trophy only a few weeks back. Champions though, revel in the face of adversity and that's exactly what the Indians did. They knuckled down, got their act together and win by win threaded together a formidable Group Stages campaign. The Champions have really hit their stride in the Super 6s, and have peaked at just the right time. Unlike NZ, who can choke opponents with their precise lines, India don't rely on any one aspect of their game to succeed. Unlike Eng or the Windies, they also may not turn a match on its head in a 5 over period through a flash of brilliance. They have however the most solid all-round game among the semi-finalists and that's a good place to be. Till another team stakes a valid claim to that title, there is only one Champion.

The Windies (Rizzy) have cruised through to the Semis, some would say unnoticed. There were reports in the media of their captain's waning interest in a tiring, long tourney away from home; however they've managed to be relevant and play the brand of entertaining cricket they are known for throughout the duration of the tourney. The only team to have beaten NZ this tourney, the Windies are perhaps more comfortable setting a target given the unbashed exuberance with which their top order smacks the ball around. Conversely, if they can keep wickets in hand, no total is big enough for them to chase. One thing is certain in their match against the Indians - it will be a close, keenly contested affair, as have been all their games in this tourney and beyond.

Head to Head: India lead 1-0

Toss been very crucial at this stage of the game where our expert thandamilk has provided depth knowledge of the teams strong links and weaknesses

England won the toss and elected to field

New Zealand batting first could'nt really keep up with the hard work of early fall, it was rather damp pitch and kept loosing wickets at regular interval although they put up a fight at the middle end of the inning and put up a decent score of 173/9 with some good hitting from J Oram and P Fulton.
England has not been able to chase lately specially against the kiwi's with hands on lonewolf classified as a master of cricket in this particular tournament.

England started off with a flyer without loosing any wicket for first 5 overs and score of 50+, lead by O shah and A Strauss seems to be going at a steady pace and keeping up the run rate required and wickets in hand. Kiwi's turned the game around with couple of wickets straight up K Mills strikes twice in an over!
English kept loosing wickets at regular intervals and nearly collapsed with the tight bowling line of kiwi but I Bell stood up there with solid 53 not out to take england home.

It was a fine contest thaught kiwi will be bowled out again at a low score under 100 then they fired 173, english not been good with batting against kiwis could'nt chase 83 last time around did it this time with some class and patience, which gave kiwi's ticket back home!
England been clasified underdogs and they adopt more pakistani trend of winning loosing streaks, do the job when its least expected!
Farewell to kiwis who been solid all the way just loosing one game in the entire tournament and second one cost them out of the world 20/20 finals!

RESULT: ENGLAND WON BY 2 WICKETS
Its HkR calling it a day, thanks for reading!

hey gougie where have you been? havent seen you around! neway i still dont see myself near no one, or isit just krishh who always thrash me so badly that i feel i should quit cricket? arghh krishh i'll come back though i dont want to win all the game just the ones i have to haha jokes!
It was my day with lone he just batted badly, in a hurry i suppose or else he's been best around.
Sorry lilas i know you had your money on me, but i know if you in the finals its kinda impossible for me to win , so i want rizzy...which im sure rizzy is aware he has to fight big time to overcome you! plus head to head stats..but motivation for rizzy that underdogs can prevail in exciting encounters! and lilas im sure you must be extra carefull after seeing lone out of finals, i feel i dont deserve as many good players around but its also a matter of luck, i was destined to be in the finals and even after loosing so many game all friendlies against krishh, i will go into finals and try to win and crowned champion, who dont want to be a champion its just matter of one good or bad game! so bring it ONN!

Bravo Bravo

Well done Hkr, your in the finals :clap

@ Lilas...8pm UK time tonight? I think thats 1230am IST?
