To chase a total of 300+ against an attack comprising of Barnes, Trueman, Larwood, Botham and Swann was quite something, even though we played on a pitch that seemed to have nothing in it for the bowlers. Brilliant century by the Don and he was well supported by everyone.

Bowling is bit of a concern though. All except McGrath went for plenty and you'd expect a team full of legends to do better than that with the ball.

Batting on a poor pitch against Muralitharan and Vaas will be a toughie. We're counting on Hussey and Bevan, two very good players of spin bowling. I'll want Mark Waugh and Bevan to bowl their more than useful tweakers alongside Warne.

And Demon Fred comes back in for Lindwall. He could absolutely destroy teams on poorly prepared tracks like this. Miller's there to cover for him in case he doesn't.

We didn't have a very good Match against Pakistan and it would've been very trouble-free for this Batting Line up , but our Middle order and Openers Failed . Bowling wasn't good either . The Performance against India was acceptable , atleast we won in the Last over , the fact is that Sri Lankan team isn't good enough to win against the Likes of Australia , West Indies , India . Sri Lanka highly rely on Sangakkara and expect too much from him whereas others fail

Excellent! Waqar and Sarfraz made sure that they don't do the same mistake the others were doing. Very happy with the bowlers considering India were the opponents. Great to see Saeed Anwar coming back to his original form, great work by Miandad and Yousuf by not giving away their wickets and keeping to score board ticking. Another match on excellent pitch, batter of my team would need to bat seriously against the mighty Aussies but I am sure that Saeed Anwar's, Javed Miandad's and Mohammad Yousuf's experience won't let the Aussies do what they did to the Lankans. Also, this is Hanif's last chance, Inzy was still better than him and his one day experience was much better as well but as I said, this is his last chance. I'd like to keep the winning combination.
