Nice harsh comment from Holding saying he should quit bowling and just bat. Maybe he'd stop breaking down then.

Why on earth was that a dead ball? Swung a mile, nothing Ponting could do to hit that. Don't agree with Warne that Anderson was just impatient though, that was a cracking delivery.

Bowden and Rudi have been around for ages now. Would be nice to see when the ICC will allow new umpires to umpire at match at this level

Good 50 by Ponting, more like the Ponting of old in particular the pull shot.

Anderson is struggling, doesn't have his usual line and length or shape.

Broad's first bad balls really. Although the fuller one swung and almost tempted Ricky into edging the ball. He's bowled rather well Broad, not as well as Harmison, but definitely been the 2nd best bowler so far. Anderson and Onions have bowled pretty awfully. Time for Swanny to get a few overs.

Watson brings up the lead the way he started this innings with a cover drive. Anderson does seem to be trying to bowl the wicket ball way too often. Needs to set it up like he has earlier in the series.

Geez Harmy is so inconsistent. 2 short balls, followed by a ripper, followed by a short wide one. Harmy trying to claim Johnson's title for worst bowling display Ashes 09. This English bowling display has been the worst we have seen this series for either side, and thats saying something given the crap we bowled at Lords.

My sincere congratulations to the England team. You have successfully handed every last bit of momentum we've built up in this series back to the Australians. I think they'll win the Ashes if they manage to pull it back to 1-1, especially if this match continues like this!
