Sometime soon, he has to try a big one to see if he can turn things around for himself with the bat. If he hits 20-30 runs, we can still be in there a bit.

Anyways in this match, though our bowling was poor, I should say, Malik-Yusuf partnership have done all the damage. With 300 runs on the board and ball skidding because of dew, it's never an achievable target. It's to be noted that highest chase was 287 on this ground.

Like I predicted many pages before, 1) RP Singh will be smashed all over, he is just useless. 2) India is going to have third horrible CT tournament. Winning Australian team with our pathetic pacers/jokers and with absence of Yuvi/Sehwag/Khan, is never going to be possible unless, Sachin display some heroics.

Nehra bowled well in this game. Ishant also bowled tight in the beginning when Pakistan were down and ended up with decent figures. It was only RP that was the weak link.

Hope you can enjoy the tournament and not pick on a few guys who place faith on some of the players based on their past performances. I had every right to have faith on RP because he had bowled well in SA conditions.

The margin doesnt paint a true picture of the kind of close game we had.

Hmm, interesting result. Not sure who I want to win now between the Crims and India. The convicts are just that....convicts, and also India don't have Yuvraj playing, so I might be supporting them just ever so slightly Then again, some of the Indian public winds me up, so I'll probs end up staying neutral. May be, it will boost Ishant's and Nehra's confidence up, but definitely, it's not going to be 0.1 percent enough against quality sides. When a team is going to face the sides like Aussies, you cannot have a single weak link either. RP never deserved even to play cricket. :sarcasm

Definitely I am enjoying the tournament with other sides. SA or Eng have to win this because, they deserve a big tournament for a long time especially, SA.

Oh I was expecting that. Come on dont blame that guy! He fought till the very end. He played at an ODI rate of 70+ SR for most part of the innings. He needed someone at the other end to keep the acceleration. Raina and Dravid made a great combo until that wicket. Had Nayar been there, maybe we might have done a lot better. But Dravid played a very good innings and showed that he still belongs here. We need anchors too. If we dont, they we might see lot of embarassment in the low totals.
