Dhoni was brutally frank when he said "the next two games are knockouts and if we lose in any one of them, then we must pack our bags and go home". Although he said the obvious, I havent seen many Indian captains speak like that on stage. But he has to make some sensible decisions. Today he was also a reason for the loss. Mishra must have played. And Raina didnt bowl a single ball

I always go clueless about the bowling changes which Dhoni does. After looking at the way Dhoni said, it seems that they are mentally prepared as well to face the consequences. Not like C2007 WCup. That's good. What's our next series?

Pak and Aussies are definately going to semis unless something miracle happen.

Pak Vs SL in semis and Aus vs SA in another semis. SL vs SA in finals. This would be my Ct09 dream.

Poor Gul! He suffered a lot. One thing which was good to see from Indian batting is, they utilized all the free hits.

Dhoni's dismissal reminded me Azhar's dismissal in 1996 WC semis for some reason. Irresponsible way of getting out!

Hehehehe. Thing is, at least with Sachin you can generally be confident in saying he will hit a match winning innings, which makes a failure even more of a hit for a fragile Indian batting line-up

Pakistan won after a poor display of bowling by seamers. They should concentrate on extras especially no balls. 7 free hits are too much and especially for Indian batting line-up. Overall a very good performance. Well done Pakistan! :happy

Kohli deserves his chance where as pathan has been given enough chances and has hardly done anything.I am amazed at people criticizing dravid,he played a very mature knock.

Totally agree about Dravid - if Gambhir/Raina stayed, albeit Raina's decision was a 50-50 one, and played the aggresor role, India would've cruised with Dravid anchoring the innings.

Nayar > Yusuf. Their bowling is probably the same, I've just seen Nayar construct more smarter knocks than Yusuf, while scoring fast at the same time. Yusuf is just brute strength, and his off-spin is nothing special.

It's not even funny how much we miss Zaheer. The batting, even without Yuvi and Sehwag, is good enough, but Zaheer is key for us as a fast bowling option.
