We`ve lost the game effectively with the toss. I do not see this side chasing even 220 with a batsman short. Our best chance was with us batting first.

Should Dravid really play?

He puts pressure on the other batsmen while chasing.

So in my opinion, Dravid should not be there if we bat second.

Who else is there to replace him? Dinesh Karthik is the only option and he is obviously not better than Dravid. If you lose a few wickets at the top and Dravid stays in there, you have a good chance of recovering back because Dravid holds one end up. And you guys are talking about run outs. Last game, Gambhir was out because he was lethargic (even Dravid would have made a dive had he been on that side), Harbhajan called Dravid for a non-existent third run and ran him out. Chasing or no chasing, Dravid is the best option we have right now in ths tournament.

Sad we lost the toss, but I still retain my optimism on India! Good start by Nehra and Praveen. I sense that this could be a low scoring game because the conditions could help the bowlers. But their pace bowlers are far superior which worries me. The team is picked well today with Praveen and Mishra coming in for Yusuf and RP. Good one!

Edit: Watson GONE!! Good start! But also worrying is that Nehra is getting good bounce and when our turn comes, we should expect a hell lot of that! Ponting is the mighty danger! Get him and we will do really well at the start
