Bought him for 1.4 mill. But he's worth it. He's gonna recieve a lot of training..Mohaideen Abdeen
Age: 17
Nationality: Sri Lankan
Wage: ?1,090 p/w
RH Opener, Wicketkeeper
This talented youngster was signed just at the beggining of the season, and is expected to undergo a lot of training. He is a talented wicketkeeper, a destructive batsman who idolises Sanath Jayasuriya, and the clubs most expensive transfer at 1.2 million. Expect him to play a big role in the team's future.
Well, first thoughts, yay! I got Abdeen!
I'm thinking over different sessions, and am wondering. If my Sunday YP isn't good enough, what should I do? I don't want the trainee to miss out on a week of training because of the Monday's updates. I have about a mill left. Should I buy a bowler trainee, then sell my YP on Sunday regardless of skill (Because, on BT, you cannot sell a player you just bought until 42 days are over), or should I use the cash to buy a good batsman (Which my team really needs), and hope my YP on Sunday is a good one?
I have an alternative idea, which I'll probably not do. I can by a decent fifth bowler with the cash I have left (?1,041,193), and only train two players, Abdeen and Folkes. Give them each 5 nets, 3 bowling, 1 stamina, 1 fitness for Folkes and 2 batting, 1 keeping, 1 stamina and 1 fielding for Abdeen. I probably won't do this, as I would like 3 trainees and a balanced lineup. Plus Folkes and Abdeen are likely to be dead tired.
So what do you think I should do? Feel free to post your opinions.
Seems good enough. Again, open to any suggestions or ideasWait till Sunday, get my YP. If he sucks, search the Transfer Market for a decent, last-minute buy, who I can get before the Monday training update. But if the YP is good, train. If I can't find one on the TM and the YP is crap, then I give Abdeen and Folkes 5 nets each for this season, and buy a a decent fifth bowler. Maybe one who can bat a bit? I can then try for a bowling trainee next season...
I hope they enjoy themselves at kentdodgers, Weatherwax of Doom and sticky wickets respectively.12/01/2007 Sold Rheams for ?51000.
