Harry Redknapp has been named tottenham manager to suceed Juande Ramos who has left for Real Madrid C.F.
Harry Redknapp who led portsmouth to F.A cup glory last year is looking for a new challenge in the footballing world. In the press conference to unveil him as manager he said he thanks the board for giving him a chance at one of the best football teams in england. Tottenham lay in 8th place following a win against harry's old club portsmouth on the opening day and two dissapointing draws with newly-promoted Hull and Stoke. The new Tottenham boss has his first challenge in 9 days against at the reebok. Juande Ramos did make his mark at Tottenham by winning the carling cup earler this year with a 2-1 win over rivals Chelsea at Wembley. In his last interview as Tottenham boss he thanked the board for the chance to manage Spurs and thanked all the players for the good time he had there.

Im going to be changing my type of updates to diary type because i dont have much time with all the project work im getting. Update should be soon.

Saturday 6th September

10 of our players were involved in international duty today. Notabale performers were Luka Modric and Darijo Srna who each bagged a goal for Croatia in a 5-1 victory over Kazakhstan, the only downside of that match was Darijo Srna hobbled off at the end of the match with a bruised shin which will lead to him taking a short break from training but he will still be able to play in our next game. In Wales 5-0 win Gareth Bale scored a goal.

Outside of the international game 3 teams came in with 4.8 million bids for Jermaine Jenas which i accpeted. If he does choose to leave i will be looking to bid for either Razvan Ochirosii or Daniel Aquino. Since tottenham werent playing i decided to go watch our Under 18's at Underhill against Arsenal U 18's. I was very impressed with the standard of play from both teams early on but within the first 30 mins Tottenhams U 18's were 2-0 up thanks to goals from Jonathan Obika and Saulo Asajile but just after Cedric Evina got one back for Arsenal but they couldnt push on to equalize. All in all i was very impressed by Tottenhams youngsters and with that victory that left them top of U 18's group five championship. After that match i was thinking to next Sunday when i started my managerial career at Tottenham with a trip to Bolton Wanderers.

Thursday 11th September
Today Jermanine Jenas had put pen to paper signing a contract with Sunderland for a fee of 4.8 million pounds. With that money i have put in bids for two up and coming stars Daniel Aquino and Razvan Ochirosii wich have both been accepted and i widely expect them both to sign for us. I have high expectations and hopes for these two players and i hope they play for Tottenaham for years to come after my retirement.

Onto more good news Darijo Srna and Pavel Pogrebnyak have both been passed fit for sundays game but sadly Gareth Bale and ledley king wont be making the trip to Bolton. This is the tactic im roughly thinking of for sundays game.

Gomes
Srna--Dawson--Woodgate--Molinaro

Veloso--Huddlestone
<---Bentley Modric--->
Pogrebnyak--Pavlychenko
I hope that team will be enough to beat Bolton comfortbaly. I have good enough subsititues that can have an impact on a game within 5 minutes of them coming on. If this team doesnt win they will be facing a long and hard season in the premiership!
