just wait and watch the games at Durban ! We would have huge crowds there . Yesterday was a weekday and hence the crowds might not have been huge but the match was a cracker !

lol.....agree with u mate, but seriously i think ICC should have planned well, when to conduct these games. They should have either conducted earlier or when Zimbabwe were not playing any test or ODI. Then we could call them ASIA XI vs AFRICA XI.

Atleast one player from Zimbabwe should have been represented. Sad to see only TIKOLO playing. What about other Kenya team members and other Zimbabwe Cricketers (who r not a part of the test team) ?

lol. This series is such a big joke that it isnt even a main headline on cricinfo. If a team cant chase 199, day or night, its just pathetic.

And it really should be called Asia XI vs South Africa. Tikolo was the only non south african and he scored 0!

I was never happy about official status for these odis and now I have to say that they must never play such a series again.

Crowd attendence at the centurion game was a joke. what could they(UCB) really expect? R75 just to sit on the grass & R100 to sit in grand stand - pathetic( a international game costs roughly R80 per person). South African cricket needs to get its priorities straight, in todays day & age cricket authoritis are trying to stop cricket being a "elitist" sport but with prices like these its a ridicules claim. I really wanted to go to the game, but I'm only a student & dont have a fotune to spend on tickets and a few drinks!!!

Well 199 should have been easy for th all talented asian team , but they was sttuttering on 95-6 , but it was good batting by kumble and the tailenders , to get asia close to the totel.

Luke you sound as if you are South African... Come on guys the series has prospects, for the future and the whole 'Official Status' is a joke.... Their timing was horrible aswell, the crowds will be quite large in Durban considering that the majority of the Indian population live there. Durbanites are also known as party animals and sports freaks so you imagine the rest.

yeah, I am South Africa. Come on guys, sure, the asian team is full of superstars & I appriate that, but I'm not prepared to pay so much money for bunch of 3rd string South African players IE: Ontong( what was his role?) who littered the African XI. Im sorry if I sound negative but I fill the Centurion game could have made a larger profit by lowering prices & getting bigger crowds = better 4 african cricket.

Is this too much to ask? the durban game costs +-R35 for grass seats....senceless/unfair pricing.

The african team will hopefully not just be 10 south africans and 2 kenyans for the next two games although i expect just to see streak in place of odoyo
