Afro-Asia Cup

Hm.... I guess it is never good to underestimate any team if the other team gets all out for 100 runs... But I saw a pic of the match Indian and Pakistani players together celebrating and laughing Oh My God that was a great picture!! :):):):):)

Well Africa won against Asia. That's very surprising for me. Especially seeing the start of this match.

Wow! What a game! It was low scoring and extremely tight with the advantage swaying thw whole time! Guys watch out Dale Steyn, his second last over was shakey but came back to bowl Nehra! I am totally wowed buy the game expecting the Asian XI to win.

WOW! What a match... Asia just needed 2 runs from 12 overs. We could have won, but lost. :( Nehra can't bat. Hope they'll win the next 2 matches. Great match!!!!

really poor performance by Asians
specially asians lost the match due to the bad performance in the batting department poor shot selections they made...only sangakara was the one who stood there but at the other end
Great performance in the bowling by Asians but our batsmens :(
Superb perfromance by Africans They batted not that well but in the end they were able to score a good score of 198 According to the conditions they faced 63-5,Kudos to Prince,He stood there & handle the pressure all alone there,he batted very smartly :cheers,Overall great performance by Africans,There bowlers defend the low total brilliantly
:cheers

It was basically Asia XI vs South Africa. Where is Gibbs???
Gibbs & Smith Have Been Rested For This Match,Don't Know Why

Yep, Smith is still banned from the tour to the Carribbean... I'm not sure about Gibbs though... But remember the name Dale Steyn, he will haunt you all! :p

Remember the ball to Micheal Vaughan? In that series, he only had I think three firts class games in the domestic series under his belt. Well he is only 21 and has a long way to go, and I think other will agreee with me that he is going to improve.

You want to know where Gibbs is? He is playing for Lashings, played at my local club last week. Hit 86.

African team did fairly well. Didn't look all that strong on paper basically just the South African team. Kallis showed he still can bowl. Pollock showed he hasn't lost it either. This makes for one good series.

i thought that the Asians lacked that competitive edge in the final overs of the African innings . Afridi gave away a 5 wides , 2 fours to prince off Murali and Anil .
In the end it made th diffrence . Iam sure that once the group of guys are used to playing with each other after the first match rather than against, they will put up a great show in the next 2 games at Durban where there will be a lot of Asian support .
The African XI were basically RSA side with a couple of Kenyans and hence they would not have had any problem getting used to playing as a cohesive unit.

Expect a cracker of a weekend ! Go Asia !

Just read that before the game, they had to spray paint the field green, because the grass doesn't look too good in the middle of winter. And only 1000 attended!

This series is a joke.

asia can't win with indians there

make a pak-sl team and see them winning

shame, three(4) teams losing to one(2) team
