The thing on the right is what is called "sidebar".And i agree that the GUI is somewhat similar to that of XP.

assume your friend has an official beta testers license. If not he is a thief.

there is no 3D part to Longhorn

It uses some of the advanced features of modern 3D graphics cards to make some nice visual effects. Although these effects are not in 3D, you will need a 3D card to see them.

Guys, I am a very beginner when it comes to computers and I have a problem. I just installed Zone Lab - firewall freeware edition and I shutdown the computer. The next time I restarted it, I kept getting message popups, like the one I have attached. Everytime I pressed ok, it came back again, but with a different .exe. Please help me....... It keeps saying I don't have enough free memory to operate any programs along with this browser...
