The cricket boards of Pakistan and India have announced a landmark cricket series between the two countries. Pakistan will tour their neighbours for 7 One-Day international matches. The ODI series will be named as the Amarnath-Kardar Trophy, after the first captains of both nations, Lala Amarnath and Abdul Hafeez Kardar.
Afghanistan also announced a short, but landmark tour to Pakistan before the latter team's departure for India, during which they will play 3 ODIs, and a historic Test match in Peshawar, a city home to many Afghani refugees.
