Anti Viruses

Spot on KShits. I always used to like Panda, i mean, what could be better than having a little Panda Icon in your system tray? But, once i found Kaspersky there was no going back.

I am still using Kaspersky Internet Security 7, have tried the newer version but found 7 the best. It uses up hardly any system resources, and offers the highest level of protection i have ever seen.

Also, i have little tool which resets the trial period every month, been doing this for two years. :D
Its pretty cheap Matt, and its worth the Money. I'm getting the Kaspersky 3 user pack here for around $17, if you want I can sell it to you. :p

Well that is cheap, but why pay for something when i can get it for free, without using an illegal or warez version.

Note, i also have a trail reset for the 2009 version. ;)

Its been 2 years lol. :p Well its differing opinions, but I'd say the software deserves purchasing, especially seeing how intelligently its priced, unlike other high priced softwares.

Or he is just testing it out until he is fully satisfied. 30 days is not really long enough.

I like the cut of you're jib.

Yes, i am still evaluating the product, i think another year or two and i shall be in a position to decided whether to purchase the full version or not...

I had to uninstall Kaspersky 9, as it was giving me BSOD messages on windows vista 64. Currently, i am without virus protection, and am living life on the edge with just windows vista firewall, and windows defender.

This is quite risky considering all the hardcore porn sites i visit. :p

I think i tried avast, or was it avg? I think it was avast, i didn't like it, too much of a cluttery interface.

Ill have to keep looking i guess.

On a positive note, i have so much free ram available at the moment i am thinking about donating some to charity. :p

Thread title changed according to discussion....

I am not sure but I hear it from somebody that once there was a virus which no anti-virus can remove it but then Kaspersky was only the anti-virus to remove it. Is it true?

Well i tried my old favourite, Panda, however the problem that existed in 2007, still exists in 2009. Catalyst control centre crashes on boot up. So that's been un installed.
