Agree with that. Its better since most of us post in many different threads

Yes, but considering how long the PlanetCricket To-Do List is, I have a feeling changing things about the rep system won't be done for a while.

It is possible, but I can't say I'd want to get a PM about it, and a notification one doesn't seem available. Also, I'm cautious of adding new things to the forum right now (you know how sometimes all the text disappears, that's what happens when that goes wrong)

edit: Scratch that. It was only possible on an older version of vBulletin, and it hasn't been updated. There are some similar things, but don't do as useful of a job, like allowing you to search for posts that quote you.

Nope, that can be done if wanted, but looking at the user cp occasionally should be sufficient imo.

Doesn't necessarily have to be a PM. On TSR its just a box above "latest posts," or with a list of the threads you've been quoted in, and a green arrow taking you to it.

Of course adding things which overwork the server isn't recommended, it goes down often enough as it is!

Think it's only fair that because I got spelled out here I'm told who just gave me one 50 minutes ago, I'm actually sort of intrigued :p
 
I too have got negative reps twice for the same post for posting in favour of IPL. I know they were both poms, felt afraid to mention their names.

Same person you were replying to in that post (and viewing this thread right now with invisible mode on). What you did wrong there was to have a differing opinion.
 
LOL, I haven't given a neg rep since October and that was to a moron in the AC 09 forum. Don't see the point of it, who actually gives a damn. If I want to insult someone, I'll just call them Indian :p
