I had an improvement in mind. Can we increase the daily vCash update of $750 to say 1000? Will make it easier for people to increase their reserves and maybe, start their own leagues

What's the difference. It's like increasing the value of 1vCash to 10vCash. Instead of having 200 vCash, people will have 2000 vCash. It makes no difference in the relative values of people's wealth.

That's an extra 7,500 vCash a month.
And not even 100,000 vCash a year.

If you are that desperate for such a small amount, just go to the vCash begging thread...
You can beg for 50,000 vCash, and you'll get it at ease.

Zorax, Callum... A $1000 update of vCash getting stashed away in the bank, earning interest and stuff can boost cash reserves for non-betters. For many people, the only source of "income" is the daily update so an increase in it should help them more than the Sheikh's of PC . As for the thread, its for beggars. 'nuff said

It is currently online. Beyond that I can't really tell you much, because we still have yet to discover all the causes of downtime.

Have we/should we give IPB a shot? I've used their boards in the past and they are pretty awesome

No. It isn't a vBulletin vs IPB thing. We'd also have to lose absolutely every addon, like vBookie, Fantasy Cricket and quite a lot of minor things to do so, and you'd likely have the same issues still.

There are some issues with vBulletin, but most of them come from the modifications we have to make to it to bring the extra things to the site. The rest is server config and other issues along those lines.
