What do you mean you don't understand it fully?

If a thread has alot of people posting in it, instead of you having to refresh the thread the posts appear automatically.

It's great, I can't see a single reason why it would annoy someone or have a negative effect. It just means you don't have to refresh the page, surely that's a good thing.

I like it anyway.

It is what it is called, for live topics, those that are active and getting a lot of frequent posts. These are indicated by the

icon.

Again, it is only in certain threads, you will not see it for all new posts.

A bug-I have noticed many times that when that box occurs, post no. of thread goes to 0!!!!!!!!

It does not matter, the post will have a number when it refreshes. Part of the reason is that often multiple posts made very close to eachother aren't always in the right order in the Live thread.

It is not a fixable thing, just refresh and the post will have a number.

Only in threads with that icon, across the whole forum. You have to be viewing the particular thread to see it.
