Any Improvements?

The best use of Vcash is in the Casino, of course.
I wonder how many members go there... Most of the members bet and earn v cash and go to bet. This is how V cash is used today.

I have asked a few members who had joined some DBC leagues about the V cash awards. They replied that V cash was useless. So they weren't interested in these awards.

Something needs to be done to the stories and the leagues section. The former is totally dead. The league section isn't in a great state as well. The number of leagues abandoned is more than the leagues completed.
Any ideas?

I have stressed in my previous posts to take steps so that members value the v cash. By doing so, V cash awards can be given not only for leagues, but also for the stories. It's very clear that when the staff does this, more members will become active in the stories section..

Well fundamentally vCash is useless. There's nothing you get by having more or less of it.

Giving away more of it decreases its value, because obtaining more is made easier.

Then, v cash should be made useful. If it's made useful, it's only going to help by reviving the dead threads and making more members active (more than 80 % are inactive). Even the Casino and Arcade could get more members.

Also, the cricket league forum (almost all other forums )will also go dead, once the DBC pc version is out and members start playing DBC online leagues.

Tbh, I do not see an urgent need to find more uses of vCash. At the most, it will help get the stories section back on its feet but looking at the number of people who wants to start the stories after getting their hands on DBC14, I think there is no dire need to stress on vCash. That said, there is an unwritten rule to be committed to the story and have an interesting story line to attract more readers. vCash surely has its own attraction in the stories section but then again it is only the story line that attracts the readers.

As far as the leagues are concerned, I do not see the section going dead, at least any time soon. As already stated in this very thread, cricket leagues section has its own activity cycle or sorts but it is evident that the activity in the section picks up soon after it goes down. The number of reasons for it I believe include vacation-school/college, drop in interest due to lack of novelty in the concept of leagues but again, members have found new concepts and have been able to attract good activity on a regular basis. All in all, leagues section needs to be left alone. At the most, we can custom usertitles for the CL winners as a mark of their achievement like we do in the Graphics section for PCGMC winners.

That won't happen. All you need is members who persevere and complete a league. Once a manager completes one season, it's half the job done. He might also go on to complete ten seasons.

vCash cannot be associated with the activity of this forum, it never had a role and it never will. You can sure motivate members to come forward and take part in your league/story by giving out vCash but that has very minimal effect until and unless the story writer/league owner fails to maintain the consistent quality of their respective story/league. I don't see why this is such a big issue. As I said, there's very minimal that can be done to increase the usage of vCash.

i had an great idea to promote this site still more in different fields like facebook,twitter,etc.........
so my suggestion is that we have some members appointed by admins to promote this site in different fields

Great.

How?
That's for you and other administrators to decide.
I have told the ways that the members can earn V cash. It's for you to decide how can they expend their V cash i.e. do not just restrict the expenditure to bets, but also find other areas where they will have to expend.

v cash will only act as a catalyst. In other words, it comes and goes out of member's account, but serves a purpose without being directly involved in that activity (a league or a story competition).

The members of course will be motivated as per as the reasons you gave, but to keep that motivation alive for long, you need to give V cash awards, which again will play it's role only and only if it's useful. So we come back to the same point.

Then your feedback is pointless - "Admins go do more stuff" isn't a suggestion for improvements to the site.

Come up with actual ideas of what people could use vCash on that would make it more useful, and then I'll listen.

Replace cash in the real world with vCash and we've got answers to all the questions. #TheEnd
