Any one with Setanta in here?

So it'll be ?5 to watch the matches a month, even if you can currently watch ESPN for free (as I can right now)? Still, ?5 a month's not bad: I remember when the matches were on PPV for Sky: they were ?5 each, weren't they?

You can't watch ESPN for free, the Premiership will be on a completely new channel.

At a fiver a month I can really see ESPN doing well. I always thought Setanta was way too expensive for what you actually got (Lets face it, you only got it for the footie and only the Premiership at that). I only had it because I got it free, would never have paid a tenner for it.

Bring Back Bunce

no-one here really cares but if I find one boxing fan n00b it will be worth it. Even Don King is helping out.

ESPN looks good, should have lots of boxing on too. Might take Friday night fights off 5 which is good because means they won't be on at 5am on a random day midweek.

I meant ESPN Classic. That's free.

That's true. What's the point putting the boxing on at that time??

Don't know especially when you consider that it's not even live. Channel 5 have so much crap on I'm sure friday fight nights would do a bit better than half man half goat, the story of goatman.

Tell me about it, who wants to watch that sort of crap? Especially when you might have not long ago had your dinner.

ESPN have got Sky to produce their actual live coverage, and they are looking at having a daily sport show.

and I'd enjoy listening to him talk about the half man half goat. If Pilkers is reading this he will be checking the listings in hope of seeing the story of Goatman. I listened to the XFM show where he read an e-mail about Half Man Half Biscuit and got ridiculously excited. He'd love the Goatman show.

Nasser Hussain has lent his support to the bring back Steve Bunce campaign.

ESPN are well lazy, not even making their own shows! I thought they were going to try and compete with sky but seems like they want to get friendly.

ESPN are already very friendly with Sky, the new channel will be on Sky for a one-off fee of ?10, and also ESPN Classic programming is on Sky Anytime and Sky Player.

I don't know about Ultimate, but you won't have to pay monthly for the ESPN pack.
