TENNIS AO Tennis

I was using it in the context of being a fanboy :)

Your use of the word is confusing. I actually thought you were referring to Homer, the Greek author of the Illiad and the Odyssey.

In my defense, it's easy to get mixed up between the Greek Homer, Homer Simpson, and homer meaning a fanboy. They can be used interchangeably.

I thought he meant as in home run... Meaning, this game is 'outa here' x

Sadly I can't disagree with what you've stated. Since DBC 14 this seems to be the approach they've taken but I'm hoping Ashes Cricket and AO Tennis don't go the DBC 17 way.

And this is what happens.

That review was written by a 12 year old. I rest my case with the following quote from the "review"...

This so called "Review" is to an actual review what the movie "The Room" is to an actual movie.

Careful "bro" - He'll challenge you to an online game because he has the mad skillz and you know nothing until you've beaten him online

I already bowed down to his highness when I read how he managed to "beat my older brother at Madden without even knowing the rules" :p

It's all very complicated and, even if self-publishing, there's usually lots of external parties involved.
No-one sets out to make a bad game. It's often not their fault. Slag the product, but don't slag the developers. Not here. I think they've earned that.

there's in a lot in that chief, but BA should be very concerned at the amount of goodwill that has been squandered over 18 months or so.

This may be true for the individual developers working for BA who are put under pressure with impossible deadlines, but the studio as a whole absolutely deserves all the criticism that comes their way for consistently pumping out unfinished products.

If this was a one-off, as I thought DBC17 was at the time, then I'd be more inclined to give them the benefit of the doubt... But it is now a constant with them and there must be a reason.

You can't just forgive them time and time again for it, and expect the promise of future patches to be good enough, especially when there is never even a rough roadmap for the schedule/content of these updates... And they may not even bring the game to an acceptable level before entirely moving on to another project anyway (DBC17).

Next time BA announce a game, everyone will already be thinking it's going to be a mess at release. This is the reputation they are making for themselves, whatever the reasons may be.

If anybody has experience in that regard, its definitely you. There are times I doff my hat repeatedly after the courage you showed after that fiasco a few years ago. I remember how you were personally lambasted for Ashes 2013 along with those that can not be mentioned. Yet here you are still giving sound advice at times. :cheers
