Ashes Cricket 2013 Cancelled

If it's No1 on the BBC site and it does lead to more visits here, that could be great news for Big Ant

Or bad news? Everyone could be so scared to buy a cricket game..

I guess we can't know

Well the top of the home page does have a banner for the Don Bradman videos, so perhaps things will work out.

Well if they come here they would see the contrast between the two games... If they don't come here ten yeah, it could scare them off

Just as the BBC article becomes the most read news story on the website, this seems like a good time to stop lurking and make my first post. Well done to everyone at PC for getting this rubbish removed from sale - this is a real victory for cricket games and cricket in general. :cheers

It's on the BBC Cricket page too.

Edit: and on the main BBC Sport page.

Bienvenu chez Planet Cricket.

It does bug me how many of these sites are using the oven gloves screenshot of DBC in beta as their cover image.

I vote MattW change his user title to "BBC News Correspondent"

Yay for credit to PlanetCricket from these websites. All class, really. Pleased some good has come out of this mess and the good guys won for a change.

That's how social media ia supposed to work.

Yeah, echo Biggs post!:p Really, a wonderful credit to our site/reviewers. This will boost planet cricket, good steps ahead in terms of game review.

Remember somewhere where chief mentioned the difficulty of getting a cricket game reviewed, who knows, PC could be official reviewer of cricket games soon!

Sad day for cricket. I did had couple of conflict with Chief regarding having the passion to make a game and making game just for the sake of cashing in. Sadly it has come true that trickstar were only there to grab whatever cash they could from this appalling cricket game.

Atleast it out of the way of DBC14.

To be honest if this game was just a little improvement over say ic2010 then I would be somewhat happy but the sad truth it's not even close.

Sad day for cricket.

But indeed a win for we cricket gamers, considering the extent of disrespect they have provided towards the consumers.

505 has thrown everything at trickstar, but I would certainly question their process of approving a go signal for steam release as well which they should have done with utmost consciousness.

An image apt on this scenario.
