so that means we can expect trailer video today as ashes is starting tomorrow........... I think I am expecting a lot

The problem lies with the quality of product as well. You just can't start at that price outright without having had a decent reputation in making a video game of a sport which has had too many mediocre video games in the past. EA Cricket was just about getting popular by 2007 in India and I bet they would have sold much more copies with EA Cricket14 than FIFA14 here in India.
It all goes to start low, build up your name, and only then are you expected to sell a large number of copies for any game. Just as Ross said it, "I don't expect to make much profit out of the first game".

Seconded. If they price PC version around 600-800 INR and the PS3 version around 1500-200 INR, I believe most of the users will buy it and won't deal i piracy. High pricing only favors piracy. If people are going to get an original copy for the price of pirated one, I don't see anyone buying pirated ones.
Hope they reconsider their price.

Death.
Taxes.
Rehashing a discussion on piracy and game prices in India for the umpteenth time.
Usuing the example of GTA V as a reason why game trailers should be released.

The pricing is fine in terms of console games! Even IC2010 was released for 2400INR (PS3) at a time when Sony's own (first party) games used to retail at that price. Now, Sony retails their games for 2999INR, which is the price for Ashes 2013.

Whether it is worth that price or not is another issue that would only be answered once the game is out.

Blame the devalued Rupee for these increased prices!! Its become a pretty expensive hobby due to that!!

Just to give an idea, Fifa13 retailed for 2499INR, while Fifa14 has been quoted at 3499INR. Thats a 40% hike in the prices. Since the international prices for Fifa14 are pretty much the same (from what I have heard), devalued rupee seems to be the only reason for this.

Reverse sweep is coming in future DLC, ramp/ scoop shot is included in the game.

Am I the only one that thinks adding shots in a DLC is a bit weird?? It's like Call of duty releasing the ability to 'go prone' in a DLC. Very strange.

Missed this one. Trailer for this game I gave up on a long time ago, sure it will show it's face one day but tomorrow would be a great start. PS Guys just writing real sad stories about nothing for the start of the ashes and maybe ross will feel sorry for us and well maybe something will show up.

I suppose it's slightly better than Cricket 2000 just not having Test matches at all to save the effort.
