Ashes Cricket General Discussion

They need a competition with a monopoly in cricket games they can get away with the sort of support they have given to DBC17 and Ashes Cricket.
With AO tennis they kind of know Tennis World Tour is coming and should definitely be better tennis game.
As some who bought DBC14 DC17 and Ashes I felt led down if not cheated and would definitely not pre-book next time.
Maybe it's a language thing, but "monopoly" isn't really accurate. They are just the only developer capable and interested in cricket games at this time.

Last night I played 3 T10 with AI and really loved each of the game , lots of edges , bowled , LBW by AI , may be that was just one lucky day for me. I bumped up the gameplay speed to 1.5x using cheat engine and was facing difficulty timing the ball that may be the case of the edges.

Yesterday i played an one day match between Aus & Eng 92 World cup teams in legend and hard difficulty. I experienced more number of play & misses along with shots but not even a single nick behind to keeper or slip fielders. (User batting ).
In DBC17 if i play shot with wrong footwork and timing then definitely i will nick and edge behind .Ashes game looking like an arcade without edges.
I own all cricket games and Rll3 of BigAnt. So i think i am being a long time customer.Edge frequency definitely should be sorted in the coming patch otherwise will be loosing interest in Ashes.
I don't want to criticise the hard work put by a bunch of talented BA guys. They made great games with minimum system requirements (great ) and nobody would be close enough. We are all very proud of BigAnt and Ross. Ashes shouldn't be incomplete game .My hope that they listen.

Are those my teams? Cause I've had plenty of edges with them. More since I upped to hardest and tweaked some modifiers.

However, I think a lot of comes down to play style of each individual. You can have the same difficulty settings, the same modifiers, the same teams and conditions, but there's really nothing Big Ant can do about how people choose to bat. Where I try to work things into gaps and get edges, others might hit over the top or leave.

Yeah it's your teams of 92 wc. Your's and llewelynf's are great . Problem not with kits and academy, it's fine and working well. But the chance of getting nicks to produce edges while user (we) batting is very less as compared to Dbc17.

My point was I do get edges, with those teams and others, but therest only so much Big Ant can do before how an individual approaches batting will mean edges are less likely.

I do think one thing they can control is the number of variables in terms of difficulty settings and access to adjusting the gameplay modifiers that must surely complicate things.

why whom :) check attached.
Yeah but that monopoly would not stay the same forever. We are seeing with AO Tennis what competition would mean.

Perhaps that means its getting somewhere... I don't know

Or maybe we have the perfect game already and we do not want to share.

PLEASE do me a favour , and play an actual Online Match against one of the other Beta Testers and verify that whatever is corrected , translates to the Online Side of the Game as well.
