One aspect I haven’t seen mentioned yet, Nawaz was thrown into crunch situations in both matches.
In the first one, he did his best trying to defend 7 off the last over, although he could have gone for a yorker against Pandya. But Haris let that match slip away in the 19th.
In the second match, he had an absolutely perfect performance with bat and ball. Hopefully he can be consistent for Pakistan, now that’s he’s being preferred to Imad Wasim.

These are the norm for an international quality bowler indeed. I’m shocked that fans are surprised by such reveals. If they believe that international standard bowlers just run in and bowl like a bowling machine I have a bridge to sell to them.

So Bishnoi is not even playing chances are even slimmer now.

Too early to call. I like the challenge of us batting first as we’ll need to be much better than Sri Lanka to win today. Should also force the tempo for us.
