South Africa are continuing to bat well this game. In the last 20 overs they lost 2 wickets. One of Graeme Smith for 66 and the other of AB Devillers for 30. Gibbs and Vinters are the current batsmen at the crease.

AT the moment South Africa only need just 12 runs to win. And they should get it with 60 balls left and 5 wkts in hand

SOUTH AFRICA WIN

South Africa has won the First PCC Champions Trophy match by Defeating England By 5 wkts on home turf. It was quite easy to tell that South Africa were the better side in todays game.

As you can see Gibbs was extremely happy!

To the scorecards and stats for the second innings.

As you can see South Africa had the upper hand in the whole match as the batting scorecard shows. Most players getting off to a good start and scoring a good amount of runs especially Gibbs who got 55* and Smith who got 66.

Alot of work for the bowlers for a small total to defend but however couldnt match up to the South African batting. Most wickets went to DJ Ager as he got 3 overall.

To the manhattan. And the difference between England and South Africa is that South Africa were consistant with their partnerships and didnt get out very often. They stuck to the required run rate and 2 of their players were rewarded with a half century
