England coach leaves training camp

New England coach Lee Payne has left the team training camp in Loughborough due to personal reasons.

The 14 year old is being heavily protected by the new governing body Cricket England, who are determined not to allow details of the problem to be released.

"We are fully behind Lee at this difficult time," a Cricket England spokesperson said.

"He has impressed us all since taking the job and we were all sad to hear this news. He has had to leave the training camp for a short period of time to visit family and gather himself,"

Payne is expected to return to Loughborough on Wednesday.

Barrow Sends Thoughts To Payne

Barrow, who was arriving for a NZ conference, has said a few words for fellow cricketer Lee Payne....

Ive just heard word on the radio that he is having trouble be it family or personal i wish him and his family health and happiness at this time.

"We have this rivallry between all countries but when one player/coach/physio or even groundsmen hit hard times, we all put down the rivallry and make sure that they know we are here for them"

"Its great to hear that he will return in a short period and i just hope that coaching such a big team as England isnt too stressful for such a young lad!"
