it's great to see Hilfy in the squad but it's bad for Tassie because he's ou best bowler but we still got an awesome line up with Wright, Kreja, Griffif and in the batting Divenuto(a star), Marsh, Bailey, Pointing(if he plays), Dighton and Butterwoth(i saw him get his century in pura cup final, best batting performence ever!!!!!!!!) and Clinglaffer (if you need to bat patiently)

Well, if any of the State sides in your country would let players go then I'm sure he would have.

An example of this is Aiden Blizzard, I don't know too much about him, but, my Club, Horsford, made an offer to Him and Victoria for him to be our oerseas, play at a level where he'd score hat fulls of runs easily but also gain some experience of the country ansd the wicket. Was rejected.
No reason given.

Blizzard seems to be a quick scorer if his 20/20 games are anything to go by.

Hilfy over in England that would be awesome, the amount of swing he could get wow!

yeh but it might hinder his development because he might start to rely on that and come back to australia with that in his mind

Well he hasn't been picked up this season so he will have another season with Tassie and if one of the County sides want him then he'll be ready.
I don't think it would affect his development anyway, if he wants to get into the Aus team he would have to bowl well on our flat pitches and seeing as his home ground is a swinging deck it won't be anything new.

You don't go from Nowhere to a county level.
Don't be ridiculous.
It would actually have been a good oppourtunity for the lad to learn some Cricket over here, in one of the highest league in England, that is not at County level.

Personally I don't like James Hopes but I can see the logic, he did have a decent season, I still don't get Cullen though, couldn't even get an FC game for SA and he gets offered a contract? No one point out the Brad Hogg situation to me.

Hopes just keeps taking wickets in the domestic comp especially the OD game. If Butterwoth has another good season then I suspect we will see him in the 25 next time round.

I saw enough of the good stuff from Butterworth late last season to tell me he has has what it takes, and was deserving of a contract this year.
