Remember they were 3/11 last game and still posted 180 and could have got more if Bashar hadn't gifted his wicket away.

And that was with Ponting as captain bowling all the part timers hence Bangladesh were let of the hook.

well i must admit i am surprised they rested Lee and Bracken. But Dorey swung the ball!!

and id like to take this oppourtunity to commend Brett Lee and all he's done these last 6 months, he has given his all and deserves a rest and all the credit that comes his way. Any lesser man or cricketer wouldve surely cracked...well done Lee :clap :hpraise

Edit: Gilchrist wasnt out lbw in the 2nd match, he got an inside egde so now its all square

Of course Dorey can swing it. How do you think he got all his FC wickets? He can swing it both ways and with his height could be a good bowler in the future.

Johnson seems to be easy pickings now.

6.3 Johnson to Rajin Saleh, no run, half volley outside off stump, Saleh drives it away straight to cover

5.4 Dorey to Rajin Saleh, no run, pitched up around the off stump, driven straight to mid-off

1.2 Dorey to Rajin Saleh, no run, half-volley outside off stump, batsman drives straight to cover

Bangladesh need to put the bad balls away, rather then hit the ball straight to the fielders.

Dorey is already 28...29 this year i think, i get sick of them picking geriatrics.
Dorey didnt swing the ball one bit in the VB series, in fact he bowled quite poorly...but im prepared to give him a chance.

I agree he bowled crap there hence his crap stats but he did go alright in the domestic comp. Nothing amazing but kept it tight. Still don't know why Bollinger isn't here :(

Hopes is on now and hes continued our extras problem.

yep Bollinger will still be given a shot in the future so dont worry. id say they just didnt want 3 left-armers in the squad.

cricinfo has classed Hopes as (RM)...yet id be willing to put money on the fact that he is bowling as fast if not faster than Dorey.

Not if they brought him over instead of Dorey or Johnson ;)

We definitely seem to be making Hussey into an all rounder. Hes bowling 10 overs in. Hopes seems to have Ashraful measure. Last over was a maiden the next one looks to be heading that way.

Ashrafuls out, soft dismissal. What kinda shot was that!!!!

Well, thats the end of Bangladesh for me. Their best hopes I thought were Ashraful. (Unless Bashar can do something!)

lol nah Hopes wont be...he's only in Bangla because Watson is injured.

Hopes just got Ashraful caught by Cullen :)

Bashar needs to stay in a score a century for Bangladesh
