Tait, Johnson and Lee could single handedly destroy India but if India use there itelligence they will just guide the ball around and use Johnsons, Taits and Lees pace and just make the new ball old.

Not really single-handed if there's 3 of them :p

I believe that Virendar Sehwag would be needed for a series like this simply because Australia will likely post about 300 against India's third rate bowling attack and Sehwag and Tendulkar are the only people who can score at such a rate throughout the innings to chase (or set) such a high total. I really believe that the key to playing Tait is to wait for the bad ball and punish it. Batsman get carried away trying to slog Tait and they end up getting out because of it. As for the bowler's, I can safely say it is anyone's guess who could play, I could provide a list of possibilities...

-Sreesanth
-Zaheer Khan
-RP Singh
-Bose
-Harbhajan
-Irfan Pathan
-Munaf Patel
-Ramesh Powar

Just to name a few...

PS: Is seven ODIs necessary? At least there will be something to help me keep my sanity in the Autumn Term at school.

I'd play Bracken instead of Johnson.

LOL
well anyway i dont think all 3 of them will bowl

Watson
Hogg
Lee
Bracken
Clark
Johnson

as for India
Zaheer Khan
Irfan Pathan
Munaf Patel
Kumble/Harbijan or even both

Then again i haven't seen India play for quite a while

As for batting Sehwag, Tendulkar, Dhoni and even Pathan will be the key to posting a good total or chasing one.

India should have a lot more trouble dominating Lee and Tait than Australia will against Pathan, Zaheer, Singh, Patel, Sreesanth or whoever wins a berth. It's very much an uphill battle on paper at this stage. Johnson is definitely the most targetable, but I wouldn't bet on Johnson playing more than a couple of games or after the series is decided; with Lee, Tait, Bracken and Hogg being the preferred specialists by a long way.

Kumble/Harbijan or even both

Anil Kumble has retired from ODI cricket. I would like to see Harbhajan Singh back in the India team. I saw him in the Challenger Series last year and I thought he was a demon. Get him in!

Oh has he :o... ;l
Yep Singh has to be the spinner and Sean you have a point so if you dont play Clark you play Lee, Tait, Johnson, Bracken, Watson and Hogg or if thats to many take out one.
