300 can't be the par score everywhere, every day of the week. The cheap wickets of Symonds, Clarke and even Hogg and Lee mean that 250 was probably the upper region. 200 would have been desirable, but I think it will be tough if early wickets are taken because much of India's middle order will become restless on the defensive.
