P.s: what was ponting doing arguing with the umpire over the ball? the fast bowlers were getting swing with the new ball and it would have benefitted the aussies more at that time. it was silly stuff from ponting with lee getting in somewhat.

Gilchrist is one good shot away from good form.

His very inconsistant though, I remember the 2001 series of India vs Australia, he slogged at a hundred in the 1st Test Match and bagged a golden pair in the 2nd.

I remember Tony Greig ranting on...

"Adam Gilchrist is gone 1st ball..."

And he wasn't even really out.

The next innings he went out 1st ball to Sachin Tendulkar.
