There's a difference between turning off your TV in disgust and not posting around dinner time. None of us gave up, we just stopped posting for a bit.

Good stuff from the final pair. was nice to see them making the aussies work hard in the end for that wicket. two sixes from zaheer gave some entertainment.

nothing to lose for india here. just got to come out and enjoy it and stretch the aussies a bit before their eventual win. the last pair showed that the wicket is still good for batting. but i feel you just cant blame our batters much today. it just was not our day as it was for australia the other day.

Don't blame them for batting poorly? If your team takes the same attitude as they won't get much better.

He did his job shame about his injury as he has been in awesome touch. This does mean we can give Ponting and Gilly a bit of form as both haven't fired this series.

I hope Haydens injury isn't to serious, although if we win today we wont need him for the rest of the series but if i get fixed up sooner the better.

Zaheer, gone. So were the Indian batsmen confused because of the swing and conditions, or was it just some phenominal bowling with the pace and all?

It wouldn't be the first time India has lost the plot, or any team for that matter, but it doesn't feel like he really nailed them with good deliveries. However, he did maintain economy and whether fear induced or otherwise, the batsmen did not want to play him as much as Lee, whose wickets were really superb deliveries. Maybe it is his trajectory at good pace. The pitch certainly looks a bit dusty and could have made it awkward.

The conundrum is that he now has a superb record against India, but against NZ, SA and the West Indies, his performances have been expensive beyond belief (and for the record, he has bowled more overs against NZ than India).
