Australia in India

Man other loose to India's name. What do aussies eat they are nearly unbeatable:p:p

India had a dissapointing match today
they just lost wickets really quick but great batting from Tendulkar and the last 2 batsman :)

It wouldn't be the first time India has lost the plot, or any team for that matter, but it doesn't feel like he really nailed them with good deliveries. However, he did maintain economy and whether fear induced or otherwise, the batsmen did not want to play him as much as Lee, whose wickets were really superb deliveries. Maybe it is his trajectory at good pace. The pitch certainly looks a bit dusty and could have made it awkward.

The conundrum is that he now has a superb record against India, but against NZ, SA and the West Indies, his performances have been expensive beyond belief (and for the record, he has bowled more overs against NZ than India).

Maybe Australia can play him as a specialist bowler against India? Are players ever played as specialists against countries?

India could maybe have tried giving the new ball to the quicker bowlers rather than harbhajan. Afterall, Lee and Johnson were the main destructors during the Indian innings.

India must learn from their mistakes

Rahul Dravid must be dropped from the team. He is doing just nothing..... coming to bat.....getting out early.....and hampering teams confidence.
Our bowlers should be more discipline. They must be more accurate and bowl at the right spot. And indian fans, please try to control your emotionS. Throwing bottles will do nothing good..... but hamper india's confidence.

My message to India "Always keep in mind that past is past....just forget everything of this ODI....drink a cup of tea.....make yourselves fresh and cool......and get ready for the next ODI....Always remember thst you can still draw the series if not win it.....all you need is a TEAMWORK.....i am sure you can do it"
BEST OF LUCK

Wow, what an absolute rout that was.

Johnston getting 5? That guy has strange consistency.

Only against India, irottev ;)
Everyone's good against India! We're just nice like that...:)

We give everyone a chance.

Yeah but India needed to try something different. Singh was their best bowler in the last game.

With the wisdom of hindsight, I think we should have stuck to the regular opening pair or maybe give the new ball to Pathan for a change. Afterall he is only quickie in some kind of form.

Anyway, what's with Sreesanth?? It's time the match referee handed him some kind of punishment, not that it's gonna cure him. Recently noticed that the number of members of "I hate Sreesanth" community in orkut is rapidly increasing. Interestingly, most of the members are "mallus". They obviously find his behavior embarrassing.

Well, it suffices to say I'm glad I had a test this morning and did not stay awake to watch that carnage. Was a pretty pathetic performance from our top-order batsmen when the Australians managed to keep it in the correct places.

1. Ganguly--Still hasn't learned how to run despite 300+ ODI's. He's probably forgotten how to dive as well.
2. Dravid--Peach of a delivery.
3. Yuvraj--Extra bounce did him in.
4. Uthappa--Decision looked a bit iffy to me and I didn't get to see any hawkeye. He seems to have a definite weakness, though.
5. Dhoni--Out to a poor delivery down the leg side.
6. Sachin--Good pressure bowling from Lee and was looking in sublime touch.

That was about 20 overs, right? :D Will be interesting to see if and how India will bounce back. Looks like the series will be dead heading into Mumbai.

Please watch Ganguly's runout carefully mate and then post any comments. It was all sachin's fault. Sachin was just standing at the crease watching the ball go. He did'nt even notice Ganguly running. Ganguly called Sachin several times, still he stood still.
Ganguly was halfway down the pitch when the fielder threw the ball to the keeper. It was almost impossible for him to come back. When Sachin realized his mistake it was too late.
Ganguly just wanted to take a quick single. But Sachin messed things up.

Katik is not that good in the ODIs. Badrinath lacks experience. I think pathan can do the work of the seventh batsman.

Definately, It was Sachins mistake, when Ganguly was running, Sachin was just standing he didnt even shout or shove his hands to stop Ganguly .
