Well it only bounced in front of him because he took his sweet ass time running into take it.

Let see how he goes today when the pressure to win the series is on. I'll willingly eat my hat if he scores 50 or more but I get the feeling I will go hungry

Yeah, New Zealand should be feeling good about keeping them to 273. Australia did well though when you think about it, to get through the first 10 overs with the way Southee and Bond were bowling and not losing a wicket was a pretty good effort. Really just needed someone to go on.

Hopefully he get's number four with Franklin getting injured. I've been saying for close to a year that once you get him up the order he'll perform, hopefully he does today.

That has been a huge problem for them. I only remember Ponting making a good century against West Indies. They keep getting really good starts and no centuries.

Was well pulled back by us. We're still in the game though our batting has taken another hit. McCullum's back is a bit dodgy and it's never easy to bat with a bad back. Being a small ground it makes it hard to defend. Bloody Franklin getting injured again. :/

I hope we can take it close. All these bloody injuries. Hey, at least we're still competing unlike the Windies.

Ryder, Mills, Elliot, Taylor, Oram, Franklin is injured in this game and McCullum and Vettori not 100%

You would think that, but it's actually the 7th highest in about 60 matches and 3rd highest in the last 10 years. It's a weird ground.
