Checking the advance guide again, it seems Nine will show part of the first 2 Aussie games. Monday night (21st) has Aus v Zim from 11:30PM EDST til 4:00AM. Friday night has Aus v NZ at the same times. Both are billed as 'live' although the NZ game can't be - it's meant to be a day game, which would start around 3:00PM Aussie time. Those times would imply only the 2nd innings would be shown, but even if it's just the 2nd innings of both games, it's better than nothing.

I believe these are one hour highlights packages, but may be longer in some cases. I don't think any of it is live. All is on the main Nine channel.

This is ridicolous that cricket's showcase isn't on live. Especially Australia's games and the final isn't going to be fully shown? That's disgraceful! Whoever decided this is stupid.

If I remember rightly their coverage in 2003 was pretty good. (Bear in mind I was only 9 at the time). But didn't they show Australia's games live? I think I remember watching Australia play Sri Lanka in the Super Six stage.

They showed the 2nd innings last night, so i guess that is what they are doing, it is a stupid idea, at least show the full game for the finals.

Yeah, I think it is just day games that will get only the hour highlights.

glad they showed this game in full, a shame it was a crap game though. They either came to their senses or caved to ridicule, or it was just because of the new zealand earthquakes. However they have the Sri Lanka game scheduled as showing the 2nd innings again, but they have a four hour gap TBA before it so hopefully they are trying to buy up a few more rights. I thought the world cup would be on the anti siphoning list, must be shown live and in full.

It is on the list. I just hope sanity prevails. Though I suspect they must've got a few complaints. As for those saying just get Fox. I think it's a bloody rort. That's why I won't. Because I'd have to pay extra to get the channels I want and have to have channel I couldn't give a bugger about
