Australian Domestic Cricket

Faulkner again doing the business on the Adelaide oval too. Likewise Bird, good signs on both front. Now for some runs from Faulkner. Bailey did alright, certainly repaying the faith the selectors showed in picking him as captain.

Quiney just can't put that final nail to really put his name in the hat, a hundred here would certainly have done it. At least we got batsmen starting to put their hand up.

The reserve batting spot is up for grabs aka Marsh's old spot. Forrest is the front runner followed by Bailey but a hundred here would certainly have helped Quiney.

Yeah, I don't see it being opened up to a third batsman, not without a couple arrows to the knee.

Siddle is tearing up the Shield comp, had another hattrick opportunity and should have got it.

Maxwell grabs the wicket of Marsh, if he can get his batting up to Test standard his offies will be really useful.

Over 71.2: Magoffin to Haddin, no run, OUT, pitched in a fraction short by Magoffin wide of off stump, Haddin takes a wild swing at the ball but can only manage a fine outside edge through to Hartley the keeper

:facepalm

South Australia have batted themselves out of defeat, but 1/376 really makes their first dig look all the more ridiculous.

Damn, Adelaide must've flattened out like a MF'er. Krejza 80 odd and the only three SA guys making starts in the first dig, go on to rack up scores in the second. Nice way to mess with Bird and Faulkner's figures.

Typical NSW performance, at least O'Keefe and Copeland managed to add some runs, better than I expected.

Could be a rubbish round for who ever manages to lose, because they won't have much for company.

wow... 4 overs, 1 maiden, 5 for 10
WA heading for 3rd innings doom not through Siddle, Herrick or Holland, but Sheridan.

Holland hasn't done too much since being called up, although Siddle has been ripping up. Maxwell continues getting wickets with his offies, not the best second innings dig though.

Copeland back in the wickets, been a long time since I've said that. Also wickets to Smith, just SOK who hasn't ripped up this season.

Sheridan's bowling is proving a real handful these last 2 games. and Bird just keeps on producing...
