RYOBI One-Day Cup 2011-12

Games 10, 11, 13, 14, 15, 16, 19 and 20 of the Shield are candidates for 'twilight' games; these would be delayed by 3 hours, with no other changes to match conditions. One day games return to a 50 over format, but I hesitate to use words like 'revert' or 'standard' because that would imply that the one day playing conditions normally are the same from year to year.

The revamped Futures League competition starts this weekend, with Victoria taking on Tasmania, (which starts on Sunday) and Queensland playing New South Wales. (Starts Monday) It's now four days instead of three, and each team is now allowed two more players over the age of 23. So now it's more of a second XI, instead of an under 23's side.

He's done okay in county T20, but not really for NSW. Still, they're taking Henriques, whose greatest value is as a fielding sub. I can only assume that NSW think it is more important to them that Jaques' priority is 4-day form and also that there is someone very highly respected to lead their young group.

Queensland struggling so far. I'd say it's pretty overcast up in Brisbane at the moment.

Both of the NSW swing bowlers seem to have a field day going by wickets and runs conceded. Armstrong ended with 93 easily the best score so far. Certainly putting his hand up should NSW need to call someone outside of their squad.
