excellent presentation :clap

Good start for WindiesA too! But couple of quick wickets will expose the testing middle order too ;)

MacGill Breaks Through - West Indies "A" 2/96

Stuart MacGill made an important wicket with the dismissal of opening batsman Denesh Ramdin for 55, leaving the West Indies 2/96. MacGill, bowling in just the second over after lunch, and his first, snuck the ball through the vacant bat and pad region after pitching the ball outside leg stump. The leg spinner turning the ball enough to clip the top of leg stump.

Promising young 20 year old Jamaican batsman Xavier Marshall is next to the crease.

ohhh mcgill stucked ...........good breakthrough keep on aussies

Hey guys this is all nice and sweet to look at but Ramdin do not open for WI A, so make this a bit more realistic, open with Ganga & Devon Smith, lets see what happens, or even with W. Hinds, is he on your WI A team?

Weird I saw your comment of you using a patch but missed the update...weird!

Anyway its looking good Langer looks weird at 3 is this a decider over Jaques and Langer or even all 3 Jaques, Langer and Hayden?

Thats a beautiful delivery from MacGill! 96/2..not a bad score! If two more wickets fall within 20 more runs, Aussies are right back into this game!

im playing as australia and i cant pick the team in cricket 2005 for the windies a team. im using the unique face pack and roster so this is pretty close. its not as easy as just hoping that ganga and smith would open.

I have experimented with Ramdin in DLF! I tell u, he can also play well :) This unusual openr gave 100+ runs stand with Gayle in DLFfinals against Aussies ( Infact it was the only match he played well as a opener for me :D )

MacGill Bags His Second - West Indies 3/108

Stuart MacGill picked up his 2nd wicket of the match after bowling Dwayne Smith for 30 to reduce the West Indies to 3/108 just after lunch on day 1. Smith looked to use his feet to the leg spinner but was beaten in the air by MacGill, the ball eventually turning to clip the top of off stump.

Now Aussies are right into the match i guess... This is what i mentioned before " testing midle order " for Windies! ;) Couple of qucik wickets ( say below 150) then the total shd be around 200-230! :)

Marshall, Tait's Second - West Indies "A" 4/144

Shaun Tait picked up his second wicket of the match and Australia's fourth of the innings as Xavier Marshall departed for 26. The dismissal leaving the West Indies "A" team in slightly more trouble at 4/144.

Tait picked up the wicket by virtue of Marshall looking to drive the South Australian quick through the off side, however only managed to uppishly spoon the ball to Stuart MacGill at extra cover.

wow my predictions coming true now! WindiesA in trouble! Good comeback by Aussies comapred to the stage where Ramdin was going over the bowlers!

Tea - Day 1

Welcome back to the commentary box with myself and Michael Slater. We have seen Australia fight back in this second session to bring the score to 4/159. Michael what have your thoughts been on this second session?

Well Mark we definatly have seen a much more controlled display from the Australians. Stuart MacGill has been excelent but has only been used briefly by Justin Langer. Shaun Tait and Shane Watson have also bowled very well.

Yes Shane Watson's definatly been tested in his first match back from injury.

He definatly has, but that wont bother him at all because Justin's obviously giving him the best chance to impress the selectors. Hes going to be a tired man after this innings but the selectors will need to know what they are picking when they choose the first test team.

Ok well thats enough from us, lets get back to the cricket...

(Darren Ganga looks to play some shots early in his innings)

Nice presentation mate! yeah, Ganga is key man now atm as he has more experience! Also Macgill has to be given more chances i feel becos he has picked two wickets in only 7 overs! Macgill can get somemore quick wickets i guess!

Ganga Leads Fightback

West Indian "A" captain Darren Ganga struck a resurgent half century to take his side to be 4/200 from 66 overs. Ganga brought up his half century from 97 balls and included 6 boundaries as he brought his side well back into the match.
