Match Presentation - Mark Nicholas

Nicholas - Well after yet another stunning Twenty20 display from Australia and India, I think its safe to say that Twenty20 cricket is starting to capture the imagination from fans all over the world. With me i have Rahul Dravid, whos team unfortunatly fell only 12 runs short tonight. Rahul how did you find the game?

Dravid - Hello Mark. Well it definatly was something different. It was a little bit difficult to adapt to, we dont have a twenty over competition in India yet and i think that showed tonight. Im sure with the players we have we can compete at the top of this class of cricket.

Nicholas - Yes without a doubt. Was there anywhere in which you thought you were particularly let down?

Dravid - Its really a bit hard to say. As much as you want to beat Australia whenever you can, when it comes down to it this was just for some fun and to give the fans something to cheer along to.

Nicholas - Well thanks very much for your time Rahul and now best of luck for the VB series which will start next week.

Nicholas - Well now i have with me, the victorious and delighted Ricky Ponting. Punter you would be very pleased with the result tonight?

Ponting - Yes mark very happy with the performance of all the boys especially under pressure after Sehwag got them off to a flying start.

Nicholas - Whats the biggest plus that you can take out of this exibition match Ricky?

Ponting - Well obviously a winning culture is a great thing to have in the team but the most pleasing thing for me was the performance of the young guys on debut here. Mark and Phil at the top along with Shaun Tait and Dan Cullen with the bowling. The depth of our squad at the moment looks very good for the VB series.

Nicholas - Well with me I have the player of the match and I must say he is a very excited young Australian. On debut today, the winner is Mark Cosgrove. Mark congratulations

Cosgrove - Thanks very much Mark its a great honour.

Nicholas - You would have to be pleased with your performance here today?

Cosgrove - Yes it was a great way to get some confidence under my belt. Obviously im looking at bigger things from now, hopefully some games in this upcoming VB series to further impress the selectors but at the moment im a very happy man.

Nicholas - Well best of luck in the upcoming series and im sure youll get a great chance infront of a very supportive home crowd.

Dear Readers

Thank you very much for your comments thus far in my story thread. We are now moving on to the VB series between India, Pakistan and Australia. This competition is due to start hopefully tomorrow or wednesday. thanks very much for all the positive feedback. keep up the comments if you can. the first page of the thread has also been updated so be sure to check it out with the updated links and colourful display and let me know your thoughts or suggestions.

Bad News

Unfortunatly i have tried to download the unique face patch, updated nine tv patch, player editor 3 and a couple of others and its stuffed my game up significantly. at the moment i am fixing it up with the necessary patches to get the game looking the way it was before. sorry about the delay but the story will be up and running definatly tomorrow (possibly even tonight)

It happens to the best of us. I've had to reinstall the game a few times because i've stuffed it up with patches. Looking forward to the VB Series.

good news. colin (barmyarmy) has helped me get the game up and running and now im just trying to get the bats assigned to the correct players then its show time. sorry about the 2 days that have been off but we will defiantly be starting tomorrow
