Australian Tour of India, October 2010/11

69.2
Khan to Hauritz, 4 leg byes, 146.7 kph, Ouch! hit on the helmet. It was the bouncer from round the stumps and Hauritz was trying get forward and tries to duck. The ball flies over keeper

Can he bowl than fast?? Or is that a typo :p I guess its former

I don`t know. He has been clocking in the 140s with the old ball consistently according to cricinfo.

I guess he can bowl that fast but doesn't do that really often coz of maintaining line and length. I remember him bowling in 140's when he first came in the team.

Oh.. Poor mitch... Lost hi offstump :p

Holy crap another one
"71.3 Khan to Hilfenhaus, no run, 145.5 kph, bouncer and Ben ducks"

Surely it aint a typo. Whats more surprising is, that bouncers generally are slower than the stock deliveries but here it is opposite. He's really bending his back here.

Aww shot... sort of. Hauritz makes room, slashes it up, doesn't get it past the fielder. Here he goes again. Ah here we go. Single. George defends nice enough. Hauritz on strike to Sreesanth.

In fact both of them are clocking early 140s and in Zaheer`s case, the mid 140s in a couple of occasions. The problem with these 2 is not their ability but the tendency to break down every now and then. I hope they remain fit for the SA tour and then the WC.

We might have a decent attack for the SA tour and the World Cup in Zaheer, Nehra, Kumar and Sree,Ishant/Munaf as backup, provided all of them remain fit.

Oh no! It's a four!

He's out. They're out. India are in.

This is getting frustrating. We must bowl them out now to avoid those uncomfortable few minutes before lunch. Better to have a full hour before lunch than come out to bat for 15 minutes.

So India needs 207 runs. The good news is that we will get a result today.

We all know that Sehwag isn't as dominant in the second gig, but he is so crucial here. Even a quick 25-30, let alone a 40+ score can win India the match!

I hope so. But a draw is not ruled out. If India lose lot of wickets, they will play for survival and its not too hard to survive out there.

Hope Sehwag can get off to a T20'sih start along with Vijay. The best time to bat will be against the new ball and we should make full use of it. Australia will start reversing it much later than when we started it.

I really wanna kill the BCCI administrators and CA admins who have arranged this series in a hurry. IND-AUS rivalry needs a proper 5 match series. Although these 2 matches have shown why TEST cricket will always be the premier form of the game and T20 will be the circus. :p

A draw is really out of the question here. If india can bat out till the stumps, they would have gone past the required target...

I guess its about time rest of the world caught up with Pakistani bowlers in terms of reverse swing. It really makes a big difference on flat tracks.

This series so begs for more games and what we get instead, three ODIs between two understrength teams!

What is with our bowlers suddenly yorking and bowling the tailenders out with reverse swing! Heartening to see,
