The Mohali pitch was under-prepared due to the monsoon, it had some dry grass on top, but played flat and straight for 3 days, before the bounce found its way up to the surface and the pitch generated a result. Then at Bangalore, there was rain around and the clean shaven pitch started tacky, taking a bit of turn. It flattened out, but by the fourth day, the ball was keeping low and the deliveries which squirted low on day 4 seem to have encouraged a result again.
So the question is, would we have had as a good series if the pitches had been prepared "properly"?
