Bangladesh Premier League

That is new news. Did they already get an invite or do they have some understanding with BCCI ??

Dhaka will play in the CL qualifiers first. They have to qualify to get to the main event.

A big LOL, yeah, LOL at the Presentation Ceremony, just like how children imitate the actual IPL Presentation Ceremony, with few of childish innovations.

Was half the stadium in the presentation podium and was the BPL organiser giving a 30 minute speech :D:D

^ Arun Lal repeatedly called the BPL IPL. He kept on saying "put up a big round of applause for the IPL" and kept on blabbing about how fantastic this IPL season was. It was really long too.

Ouch...Thanks for taking Arun Lal from India. Please do not return him back :cheers I remember Arun Lal and Yashwant Sharma (or was it Chopra) tormenting me as a kid with their hindi commentry on Doordharshan :facepalm

he was bribed by BCCI for this.

Or BPL wants everyone to think they are watching IPL and can earn more money :lol:lol:lol

Actually most teams look very strong. I really enjoy this league. It's different from most of the others.

Khulna Royal Bengals 197/0 in 20 overs... I think this is the first time a batting side goes wicket-less till the end of 20 overs, very bad bowling though by Duronto Rajshahi :clap

My one of the favourite T20 players, Lou Vincent scored 89 not out by hitting 8 manmoth sixes :cheers

It is nice to see high scoring games in BPL. Will attract more crowds I believe. Its pleasantly surprising to see the Zimbabweans playing a good hand too.

Not too many upsets thus far meaning that Dhaka is right on top of the table.

Great Innings from Coventry in his last match, Chigumbura & Hamilton doing well too. :D

With Elton & Coventry not being selected in Zimbabwe's squad for the WI's tour, It's great that they're able to show-off their ability in the BPL.
