Dunno why we start at 12. We used to start at 11 I think but half the time the start would be delayed anyway due to overnight rain. As mentioned the sun stays out til around 9PM so we can afford to play later. Weather today is forecast to be pretty poor. Tomorrow and Friday look to be fine.

Why the 12 PM starts?

Because New Zealand cricket is run my idiots. We shouldn't be starting test cricket in Feburary after noon, simple as that.

The late starts are fine if we have a clear sky but if its overcast like today and the forcast is for more of the same tomorrow we will be finishing early due to bad light.

I would say its so Bangladesh viewers are able to watch it at a decent time. No other reason why they would start it so late.
