Jesus that was one hell of a scruffy qualifying for everyone, most people made mistakes and 3 didn't even finish laps. I hope to be able to get around 5th or above again.

I know the warm-up counts for nothing, but did I pull out an awesome lap or what? With race fuel I managed to beat my pole time by .300 and, at the moment, I am quite far ahead of the other four.

Just gotta keep it on the track in the race, which is a lot harder than it sounds considering my previous history

Mine does aswell..There are so many people crashing! This race could be very interesting. I came up with an interesting conundrum earlier. If there are less than 8 finishers in a race as the others drop out, does the people who were the last to drop out get the points they would have got? Okay that makes no sense. An example of what I'm trying to say, If there were only 7 finishers in a race, does the person who retired last get one point for being (8th as such) or does he get nothing for not finishing?

As much as I meant in Batracer I did also mean it in real life aswell?

Well BATracer will be the same as real life. If I was to bet on it I would have to say that only the finishers got points.

Thats what I would have thought but I was just thinking it could be either really.

It would hardly be fair for them to get any points seeing as they've crashed out. I would be pissed if I finished 7th and a person who crashed still managed to pick up points. Imagine if in the deciding race someone crashed out last but by picking up that point gave them the title. There would be a huge uproar, so I doubt the FIA would want to risk anything like that happening.

See this is where its slightly confusing..in Batracer we get a situation like this where they rank even the people who have crashed out. . Whereas on the BBC they rank them as RET (Retired )

In Batracer it happens, I've seen it in a private game we had with 10-11 players.
In real life, if there is such a situation, I suppose the race would be abandoned. From 20 players if there are less than 8 left, then there's seriously something wrong.

I don't remember exactly, but in Indianapolis, 2 years back, we had only 6 players racing.. I suppose they all got points?

Yeah I remember that! It was the ferrari's something to do with the tyres I believe. Let me search it up.

US 2006 GP thats it, Only had 9 finishers...Although I was thinking of a different grand prix when there were only 6 cars that took the race.

2005 US GP this is the one I was thinking about when only 6 cars started the race. Doesn't look the States GP ever went down to well

The Michellin tyres were deemed unsafe, so only Bridgestone teams raced.
