It wont let you change pit-stop strategy if you made the last session of qualifying. It may let you press save but it won't keep it.

Okay I'm confused now.. If I can't change my strategy and then I change it how do I know what my original one is?

What? It should still show your original. When I tried to change it I clicked save and then it showed the old strategy with a little note in red saying I couldn't change it.

Just read through a lot of the help guides and also one on the F1 09 carset, You can't change the lap you have your first pit stop (unless made to by an accident) but you can change the number of pits and what lap your other pit stops are? Makey sensey?

Next question and something I still don't understand...Will it automaticallly change my tyres at a pit stop? If you do a two stop and have a long middle will they automatically choose hard tyres?

Ollie, Yeah, you cannot change the 1st stop, You can change the number of stops, but the 1st stop remains as it is.

Regarding the tyres, there is a tyre slider, below that there is a checkbox, tick the box of the tyre you want to be using.

Yes Yes! I'm not that stupid! But say I'm on soft slicks when I come in for a pitstop and then have a longish stint between that and my next pitstop will they automatically put me onto hard slicks?

Sorry, the way you worded it sounded like you were asking if they always got replaced. Depending on what tyre choice is ticked in race strategy will depend on what tyres will come on at the pit stops. If you start on softs and have the hard tyre selected then at each stop a set of hard tyres will be put on, and vica versa.

I wouldn't really say it was your strategy to be honest..more you won because I had an error... Lap 39.. I was in the lead but my pit crew decided to hang about whilst putting my new tyres on. If the race had been a few laps longer I may have caught you but I digress and am turning into a bad loser. Good race and good climax to!

These setups were there before the rain came in.. Rain screwed up everything
