Bats made so far

I have never used a roster so just copied the bat fsh files into the root folder, I noticed Geraint Jones is using an unmarked bat now?

You'll need a roster for them to go to the correct players. You can create one by going my cricket; load/save or simply create the folder and put the roster file in.

Soz did'nt understand your last reply. I play tests alot and do normally go to my cricket and load the saved game etc

A saved game is created from the roster file so any old save games you have will have the incorrect bats assigned.
To ensure that next time you start a test and save that the bats are correct you'll need to put the roster.ros file in the patch into the directory mentioned. This is the file the .sav info is generated from.

So does this mean that saved games will have the new bats in, but just not assigned to the correct players?

Yes unless you want to change them all manually...
You could do it just for your team if you wanted.

Right i see, sorry if im asking too many questions, but i have one more as seen as langerrox is not online to answer it for me......

He made the V100 bat for me and assigned it to bat 37 in the game seen as how thats the bat my created player uses, so i put the file in the Cricket 2005 main folder but when i go to the game its still the same bat so how would i go about properly assigning this bat to my player? and also is the original bat 37 red or green? because i think thats where my problem lies.

Bat37 in the bat pack is an MB Gold. The v100 isn't in there. You can put it in for any of the other bats if you like. It would prob be easiest to simply import it over bat37 again (ae5f4d8dcd4aaafef0943655ef3e7117.fsh).

I was not on about the back pat as I know the V100 isnt in there, i was talking about the original bats that started out in the game. Do you reckon that the bat isnt showing because its a save game file?

Also, if i make changes to a created player and add him to the team again over the existing player will that mean all his stats dissapear as i think i need to change the bat he is using but it wont save after i make the changes.

Post the file here and I'll change the bat for you with a hex editor. Just tell me what you want it changed to.

Cheers mate, is it the .pro file i post from my profile? If so here it is.

EDIT: Ah right sorry, ive posted the right file now.

Can you please assign the V100 to the player S.Briggs, if you need any more detail then ill provide it for you. Cheers.

No. It's the .mch file you are using for your county season and you need to tell me what you want done to it as well.
I'll do it in the morning now anyway.

I already had a roster file named Rost 1.ros which was previously created by me. When I extracted the roster.ros file contained in the patch nothing seems to have changed in the game and the roster.ros file doesnot appear in the load/save menu in my cricket !!! barmyarmy need ur help !!!

First you have to rename the file roster.ros to Rost 1.ros... and then you copy that file and you can search your computer for rost 1.ros, open the folder rost 1.ros, then you'll see a file inside that's titled the same thing... paste the rost 1.ros that you renamed into that folder and when prompted to replace, then replace it.... and things should be perfect :)
