Mark Nicholas and Michael Slater. Enjoy listening to those two.
yes......They do make a combo don't they?

So what is Mark Nicholas's story. Never heard of him before he came out to Aussie on the last Ashes tour.

He was a county captain.

Mark Nicholas used to be Hampshire captain, and was a stylish batter according to Channel 4's site, although the spelling is shocking on there and they could have meant shitish.

How can anbody bare listening to Mark Nicholas?
everything is just wonderful and glorious in his eyes.

My 5 favourites in no particular order
1 Geoffrey Boycott. (says it as it is. you either love him or loathe him)
2 Richie Benaud (the voice of cricket)
3 Henry Blofeld (posher than posh but paints the picture for radio listeners)
3 David Lloyd (the man is comedy)
4 Michael Slater (well balanced comments and knowledgable and easy to listen to)

There was a great moment on Channel 4 at one point, Slats was telling a brilliant story.

Boycott had been going on and on about Gillespie and his forward defensive, saying he was one of the best batsman in the Aussie team, and apparantly Tong Greig shouted from the back of the box "Boycott, you're the only man in history who could have an orgasm over a bloody forward defensive!"

Classic. Slats, Athers and Benaud are my favourites.

Boycott is like marmite - you love him or you hate him. Personally, I hat him. REally gets on my nerves.

Greg Blewett, Holding, Rameez, Manjrekar, Dean Jones(especially with either of the forementioned). All nioce fun :)

My Top guys (in no particular order)
1. Geoff Boycott
2. David Lloyd
3. Richie Benaud
4. Michael Atherton
5. Nasser Hussain
6. Michael Holding
7. Slats and Mark Nicholas (You have to count them as one!)

The Guys i dont like

1. Henry BLofeld
2. Tony Greig
3. Christopher Martin-Jenkins (for his anti-Jones campaign, all because of his Sussex bias)

I was thinking, now it would be interesting to hear Glenn McGrath commentate, as he's always had something gregarious or amusing to say and obviously is a great cricketer.
