Best delivery you have ever seen.

the topic is slipping towards worst umpiring decisions and on field behavior :p

One delivery that still remains in my memory is McGrath bowling to Sachin, Sachin thought it was a bouncer so he ducked. It turned out it didn't bounce that high and it hit him in the helmet. Sachin was out LBW :)

i heard bout that but thougth it was bull..................nice 1

i think when McGrath went Psyco it was because...

McGrath (to Sarwan): Hey mate what's Lara like in bed?

Sarwan: Why dont you ask your wife

i think thats what it was

yes pretty close..except you sound too cordial here (thankfully) ;) :D

I have a clip of Shoaib bowling a delivery (bouncer) that's so fast that had M. Waugh (facing him) not swayed out of the way, it would have taken his head along with the ball. The ball though did not produce a wicket or anything but was so fast that even moin khan wasn't able to catch it behind the wickets and it went for 4 byes. (kinda like what we see in C2K unpatched... LOL)

i saw this in some classics tv show...

Mcgrath was bowling to some english batsman, and bowled a slower ball, from the back of the hand, the ball looped so much, the batsman, as well as the bowler thought it was a beamer. the batsman tried to duck, but suddenly realized, it was a slower ball, and the ball dipped ferociously. He tried to play at the ball, but was out clean bowled, middle stump.

Great ball to see live, the description does no justice to it....

does anybody remember the ball?? if you do, plz let me know of the batsman...

Some crackers from Pigeon in the first Ashes Test of 05 in that amazing spell.

"That" Simon Jones delivery in the Ashes 2005. Perfect example of reverse swing and left Michael Clarke, a very talented batsman bemused. My favourite delivery of all time.

This may sound quite narrow minded but the best ball I've ever seen was Steve Harmison's slower ball wicket to Michael Clarke in the 2nd Ashes Test of 2005 at Edgbaston. It was such a crucial wicket at a crucial time in the game and so late in the day. The narrow margin of victory for England just tells you how important that wicket was.

I don't how many of you seen the delivery Wasim Akram bowled to Rahul Dravid at Chennai in 1999. Wasim completely flabbergasted Dravid two balls prior and had him LBW plumb in front of the wicket but the umpire didn't budge. Wasim comes in to bowl pitches the ball on the leg stump. The ball does a Wasim's trademark balloon swing making Dravid chase it all over and then just kisses the off stump causing the bail to roll off. Even the commentators didn't know what had just happened as all they heard was a noise.

In my personal opinion, Wasim to Dravid > Warne to Gatting.

Ambrose to Healy, dont know what year it was but Ambrose bowled a slower ball and Healy took a huge swing about a minute earlier than he should have lol.

Also Akhtar yorker to Giles in '05 when he took out the middle and leg stump, bowled at 95mph absolutely unplayable.
