Is this for cricket stories only, just wondering to see if my World Cup story may qualify.

I vote for surendar's story as he has implanted so many ideas into it - especially the use of 'hawkeye' is quite clever.

I have to go for the 'PC Assasins' story...it's a great idea and the presentation by Surender is good as well...

P.S also i am playing in it ;)

i have gone for surendars story in this months competition. the dedication to detail is something that hasnt been consistantly seen here for over a year now (if ever). its great to see that everybody is getting behind a member who has been supporting everyone elses stories before creating his own. the variety of ideas that he has come up with continues interest me personally and somehow he manages to post consistantly (which is a very important key point).

to be honest there are very few stories that rival it at the moment, i personally dont think the 11 votes received for the PC asassins is totally related to the quality of the story itself as there havent been all that many matches played and alot of the 600+ posts are related to members asking to be in the team. im not saying this is a bad thing, just further reinforcing my views that this story is currently the best one in the month.

the only thing i would suggest for surendar... dont stop it now because buddy your setting the trend in a very competitive competition here!

I'd hate to say it but i agree with MWaugh on this one. The Assasins has alot of one word replies which makes the actual story hard to follow as you have to search through the whole thread the see the match taking place. Surendar came out of nowhere and has come up with a very good story first up. I have to ask are there any prizes for 3rd MWaugh?

Well the prize for 3rd place will probably be the self satisfaction of you (currently in 3rd place) knowing that your a nice person :p. the first place prize will have its story stickied and the member will have his name tagged. thats all in regards to the prizes

Yeah MWaugh, What about last as well :D

yeah you get your story deleted and banned from the PC fraternity! :p :noway

Well the voting has closed as we reach the end of the financial year (dunno what thats got to do with this competition but it is july 1!) Surendar has won this months voting with 16 votes which is 37.21% of the votes.

The PC Asassins thread came in a close second with 27.91% of the votes while Short_Leg gets a special mention for coming in equal 3rd with another very handsome staff member with 9.30% of the votes.

I have to say, and im sure duffman will agree with me on this, that the quality of the stories in this section at the moment is amazing. I know that we went through a short period there where alot of threads were being created and then finished shortly after. However certain members (Surendar, Gamerkid just too name a few) have produced some amazing threads.

To Surender - congrates big fella keep it going.

To everyone else - theres the standard. Best of of luck with all your stories and for next months awards (and Brett Lee they will be up soon - so no need for the 100 pms buddy :p haha)

Well done everyone
